[CORRECTION]
In "The Fate of Discarded Personal Computers
in Japan" article that appeared in our December
2004 newsleter, we reported that "the number
of PCs being discarded is expected to continue increasing
toward a total of about eight tons a year."
The actual amount is 80,000 tons a year. We apologize
for this mistake and any confusion it might have
caused.
