Here is one comment we received from a reader in Canada:
Hi
Just wanted to say thanks for the continued updates on what is going on
in Japan. It is good to see actual steps being taken. Canada
unfortunately talks too much. We do have things happening, but from the
inside it seems to take forever to get things actually done.
Keep up the great work.
Are the regenerative bicycles successful? It seems that we haven't been
doing it before because the return was so small due to the lack of
inertia (light weight) issue. I was never sure this was valid because it
is also a light weight issue for driving it....
Cheers
Our response:
Thank you for your note. It is always encouraging to hear how people
view our activities. I will forward your note to all volunteer staff.
The regenerative bicycles we wrote in the article are less than
22.7kg in all models, according to the press release. I have not tried it
yet, but when I do, I certainly would deliver my report to you!
Thank you again for your interest and support for us.
We will be back next month with more news.
