Sharp Product Manuals Promote Eco-friendly Product Use
Sharp Corp., a leading Japanese electronics manufacturer, has started to offer product manuals showing which parts of the products are eco-friendly and suggesting ways to use them in the most environmentally sound ways.

In fiscal 2004, such manuals covered 23 kinds of products, including color television liquid crystal displays, air purifiers, washing machines, dish washers, and digital multifunction copier/printers.

Seeking to be an environmental leader, Sharp plans to add further environmental information to the instruction manuals of all of its products in the future.
