More Eco-friendly Sporting Goods Sold
In Japan, sporting goods manufacturers are expanding their lines of eco-friendly products.

Mizuno Corp. sold 80,000 driver's uniforms made of recycled PET bottles to Sagawa Express Co., Ltd. Asics Corp. released sports shoes made of recycled materials. Descente, Ltd. brought energy-saving athlete underwear to the market. The fabric of this underwear is twice as absorbent as cotton, and keeps the body cool through evaporation.

Since many companies and schools are committed to raising environmental consciousness, sales of eco-friendly sporting goods have been growing.
