CONDOLENCE
We lament deeply the disaster caused by the tsunami
in countries across South and Southeast Asia, as
well as Eastern Africa. Our hearts go out to those
who passed away, to those who have lost loved ones
and to all those who suffer from the catastrophe.

-- JFS Takes Part in Corporate Sustainability
Reporting
In Japan and elsewhere in the globe, more and
more companies communicate their economic, social
and environmental performances as well as their
policy relative to sustainable development and/or
corporate responsibility. This year, Japan for
Sustainability was involved in creating sustainability
reports of selected companies:
- The Seiyu Limited (Retail)
http://www.seiyu.co.jp/english/report_e.shtml
- Sompo Japan (Insurance)
http://www.sompo-japan.co.jp/english/engl074.html
We firmly believe sustainability reporting is
about communicating with stakeholders to build
trust and to help making progress toward sustainable
society. Please tell us what you think. (info@japanfs.org)
